Hello!

Grannysmithsattic.com has been a dream of mine for some time and now it is a reality! After a 40-year work career in the normal corporate mainstream in Kansas City Missouri, I’m going to use all that varied exposure and experience by putting it to good use in operating our own shop in my hometown of Wheeling MO. Although I think I know exactly where I’m going with this at all times, it will be “a work-in-progress” and will evolve as I grow and learn from all the wonderful folk out there that I plan to encounter. You’re never too old to learn, you know.

My building is filled with a little bit of everything. In our GRANNY’S FEATURE ITEMS, there will be ANTIQUE items in their prime and some that need your TLC to bring them to life again. I have collectibles, novelty, and things on their way toward becoming antiques.

My site provides a spreadsheet (coming soon!) listing everything from the ANTIQUES to the HOMEMADE, COLLECTIBLES, NOVELTY, RETRO, and MISCELLANEOUS. Everything comes from auctions, thrift stores, garage sales, and other unique opportunities. Our volume of product is too great and our staff too small to continually provide picture updates, so pictures will be made available upon request.

GRANNY SMITH’S ATTIC conducts a periodic Garage Sale to clear away the accumulation we acquire. Estate auctions often find us bidding on one item, but getting a box load of unknowns at times too. It’s all a treasure hunt of fun. I’ll be passing this fun on to you.

Granny doesn’t have a “posse of stores”…only this one. We are small and personable…and will remain that way. My motto is treat others as you would want to be treated.
